Digital nasties is a Tyne And Wear, England (UK) based independent production company
who produces Micro-Budget and Independent movies, as well as TV productions, commercials
and wedding videography. Originally created as a hobby by Jonathon Ash in 1993 making
videos with his friends, the Digital Nasties of today was born in 1998, we believe there
was more than a hobby in this and set forward to break new ground by creating a true grass
roots studio with their own money and ideas. Soon after that decision, they began shooting
the first micro feature Chameleon (1999). Released on VHS in 2000. Flaws aside, it was very well
received and convinced jonathon to take the next step. With each year Digital Nasties gets
bigger, and we hope we continue to grow for years to come.
