We set up a twitter account last year or so, I can’t really remember why i set up the account in the first place, I never posted anything on the account, but I will be posting even I have time too, maybe I can find something to post every now and then, but if not I will try and updated on filming and post-production stuff.

Still working on the new digitalnasties co dot uk site, i hope to have it open by December this year, if i find the time that is, as me and bob are helping with a small action/drama film being make in Sunderland, so that also pushing back The Graveyard of Death Part II a few months and the DVD release Maniac & Maniac 2, also we had to shop the filming on my new Zombie movie DEFCON as i lost my job a few weeks ago and downturn in both the US and UK economy it was best to stop filming till the worst economic crisis in 60 years is over or i find funding from the National Lottery Film Fund but if i did that i would have to replace the zombies with 145th remake of pride and prejudice.

We are casting for a new feature film to be shot later next year, titled INSANE
KILLER to be shot in Tyne and Wear, North Tyneside area in Summer 2009,
INSANE KILLER is an Slasher horror project, similar to the Camp Blood Trilogy, but
without a lot of the clichés common in the Slasher genre, The story deals with
the horror elements of lust and gore violence.

We would prefer local actors from the Tyne and Wear area for most roles, since
we can’t pay for travel/lodging due to budget limitations, The actors selected
for the roles of INSANE KILLER, Tim, and the victims will be required to wear
heavy effects make-up in some scenes, as there is a lot of blood/gore involved.
Also, some physical agility on the part of the victims would be nice, Victims must
be able to project somesort Terror, Some parts involve brief, partial nudity, but
here will be no full frontal shots.

The producer/director on the project is Jonathon Ash (“The Graveyard of Death,
Zombie Graveyard, Zombie Ferox, Poetry of the Dead, Evel Cat”).

Payment is negotiable for key roles, and partially deferred, but that could change
as our financing situation changes, Check back for updates. We generally work on
a very limited budget, We will be shooting digital. Mostly weekend work, over a few

* Police Officers – Mid-30′s Plus, Extra/Background work, Some dialog.
* The Killer – Tall over 6 feet, No dialog.
* Chastity – Female 18 + Tim’s boyfriend, full dialog, No nudity.
* Tim – Male 18+ Chastity girlfriend, full dialog, No nudity.
* Kimberly Female 18 + Nered’s boyfriend full dialog, No nudity.
* Nered Male 18 + Kimberly girlfriend full dialog, No nudity.
* Victim 1, Female 20 + Some dialog.
* Victim 2, Male 20 + Some dialog.
* Victim 3 Female 18 + Some dialog, Victim. Simulated sexual situation and minor nudity.
* Victim 4 male 18 + Some dialog.
* Victim 5 male 55 +, Some dialog.

For most of this week i been test the Defcon footage and film look to see what best matches the footage we have filmed so far, looking at the stuff we filmed so far i say we have about 30 minutes of footage so far.

Next week i will be rewriting the some of the script to allow for better budgeting as it is important to go over budget, as filming on this film is taking longer than planned.

For the last few weeks we have been searching for new filming locations, so i uploaded a few photos from my camera phone! at Havannah Nature Reserve not far from Hazlerigg at the old Colliery, and we could use the place because of the unusual post-industrial environmental conditions.

We are looking for approximately a dozen Zombies to volunteer their time for our next film Codename DC (Working Title) this Saturday 01st March between 10am and 3pm to appear in a Horror Film shooting in Newcastle Upon Tyne and Gateshead. You would need to be able to get yourself to Newcastle Central Station dressed in your very best Zombie gear! We wanted to wish every one a happy new year and review our past years progress, and give a quick look ahead as we finally begin production on The End of the World Movie.

We are about to begin production later this month check back soon for more updates.

Last year we not all that great for digital nasties productions with 3 members now gone and work taking up most of my time, but this year will see digital nasties best year yet.

The last few weeks or so i been looking for run down buildings for my next Sci Fi horror movie about the last four people on earth, i found this nice build being knocked down and filmed some screens for chromakey.
