hello i am trying to make a dvd video disc by using Ulead VideoStudio 11 and trying to write a rip of a movie on the dvd disc but i get this message (dvd-video files compliance test failed) i am attaching and i have no clue what to do so i can burn this file to a dvd-r to play it on a dvd video player!

is the file one of yours or a dvd rip in dvix ?

the files was made with Ulead VideoStudio 11 from the original dv-avi files and converted to divx.

well what you need to do is move the original tape back into your computer and burn the dv avi files to dvd and not the divx file, or edit the divx into mpeg and burn that.

keep the original mini dv source tapes, it's the cheapest backup possible and would be a digital no-on-one (bit to bit) tape-to-tape copy, only kept data disc back ups only for specific shots you cannot do without.
