| I have a old Sony DVD recored that i have been copying from old video tapes onto DVD-R, I would like to edit the DVD's with movie maker or similar. But the DVD's hjave a file attachments .bup and i cannot get it open with movie maker and have no idea of what to do next, it tells me it is the codecs, i have lots of video codex installed on my PC, for divx, xvid, h.264, mpeg4, mp3, and so on. |

| i have a home video that someone has put onto a dvd for me i want to edit it the 2 files are IFO files and my movie maker program does not support that file type what do i do?? |

| I have a DVD-RW from a Alba DVD recorder, the folder name is DVD_RTAV and the files that it contains are .BUP,.IFO,.VRO, i can view the files and content on my dvd player but how can they be seen on my computer to be able to convert, in order to edit the video. |

There is no easy way to edit the text. you need to demux to text subtitles, subrip to get an SRT-file, and then edit them, subtitle workshop, then demux using PGCDemux first before reauthoring using Muxman.
All the programs are Freeware, and can be found via a search on the internet. |
