Voyager 2 space probe hijacked by aliens

Probably more likely that if there any aliens out there they don't want anything to do with a backward and incredibly stupid human race! who are most of the time at war with it self.

An all out attack – Which would require an vast amount of resources in order to mount such an attack, possible total casualties would be high, Morally it is harsh and assuming there are forces in the universe that wish to protect life, the invading force would therefore face much more resistance/repercussionions, As the actions of the invading force are in the light so to speak.

Conclusion = High energy cost – Direct Route.

Subversion – Infiltrate Earth with various “agents”, get them assigned to positions of power and set the planet on a “self-destruct” course. Instill corrupt systems such as capitalism the “free”-market, e.t.c, thus creating anarchy, chaos, instability and panic on Earth and ultimately rendering it far easier to invade. Supplement this with a healthy dose of suggestive mind control, in order to subdue the population and essentially put them to sleep, and you have a formidable invasion strategy.

Utilize methods of propaganda in order to evoke uncomfortable/fearfull subliminal/sub conscious thought patterns in the general populace. This could be achieved through various methods of influence, ranging from television and film industries, the music industry, written work and even the press.

Create a “collective conscience” so as to back up your methods, by utilizing simple social conditioning tactics (or as I like to call it “sheep syndrome”) (I.e if enough people say something is right then it becomes so). Anyone discovered thinking about this or questioning it, is subject to pre-determined ridicule, and thus alienated from society.

Conclusion = Low energy Cost – Indirect/Subtle Route.

Strategically this tactic is fairly sound as it is a subtle operation, that will not be easily determinable. It also has the added benefit of operating with plausible dependability. (For every course of action there is a possible underlaying ulterior motive). Such plausible dependability has sadly been used in the world for a long time. Look for example at the current situation with the middle east to name but one such occurrence. Are we really routing the terrorists? Or simply accumulating valuable resources? (oil). If some of us say “it's probably about the oil, and not routing the terrorists” then look at how quickly the rest say “yeah conspiracy right....little green men beady beady beady”.

Seeing as Voyager is 8.6 billion miles away! The velocity of light is 186,000 miles per sec which in metric is 300,000,000 meters or 300,000 kilometers per sec, Simple arithmetic - mathematics to British and Europeans but math to our American relatives shows that one light year is equivalent to 365.24 days multiplied by 3600 secs ( seconds in a day) multiplied by the speed of light. One light year equals 244564704000 miles or 394459200000 kilometers. That is two orders of magnitude further than the spacecraft has traveled, I suspect that the craft is now starting to breakdown, the fact is that it has lasted far beyond what was ever expected and sooner later things would start to pack up.

While I have the utmost respect for Professor Stephen Hawking, the fact is, if Aliens are out there they would have contacted us by now.

I will wait and see what they make of the new so called garbled transmissions before i make any sort of criticism or comment.

Still I find it utterly ridiculous that people can believe in god yet this is in no way possible unless God is one of the Aliens.

Just because humans first discovered radio waves as a means of communication it does not follow necessarily that other species use the same system.

Just because Voyager 2 is broadcasting from 86 billions years away, does not mean that is were they are, they could be another 200 billions years away from Voyager 2 and just using it as a transponder to sent there messages.

Aliens are indeed around, but how do you know for sure that there are none of our intelligence or above within 100 light years of us?
