Trolls

I used to use the imdb forums or community message boards as they call it, apart from all the crap posted the trolling on there is worst than 4chan, they seemed to dwell on anything negative, picking on Uwe Boll and such like, the interesting thing about people posting criticisms on the various boards is that they never buy the bloody movies they are criticising all of them are getting them from torrent sites they even use the same usernames on the torrent forums.

It's worth bearing in mind that the IMDB is populated by Americans, who in the real world are only vaguely aware that the rest of the world even exists,
and a 3rd world country for them is Mexico, witness how the North American distributors of movies strip English speaking voice from movies like Hellraiser (1986) because the movie has funny accent which many Americans won't understand.

Some of the best European films of the late 20th century are completely unknown to American audiences, who have no idea that "The Vanishing", "Vanilla Sky", or "The Italian Job" are simply inferior remakes of the European originals.

We all know that the forum software used on IMDB sucks big time, i totally hate to use it, talk about fucking obsolete they need to check out Vb or Phpbb, i go into the IMDB forums, a few thing come to mind when i think about them such as old, clunky, rusty, dusty, unmoderated and full of trolls.

Your right about the immaturity of imdb users, i guess it the same lot using torrent sites to rip there shit.

I also like trolling the IMDb forums too, some users make it very easy.
