When Rory punched Hitler and put him into the cupboard that was funny, but that was pretty much it for the show, the story has got too complicated now and I found it very much boring.

I'm i the only one who thinks that River Song's regeneration history makes very little sense.

* (1969) She the girls in the space suit.

* (24/04/2011) somehow kills the Doctor.

* (1970's) Regenerates into another little girl in the middle of New York.

* (1997) Ends up in Leadworth as a girl of 8 years and ages normally with both Amy and Rory.

There is either two people trying to kill the Doctor, or someone was helping Melody time-travel.

And does any of this take place On Miracle Day timeline, and could the Doctor still die?

What i want to know is why people watching Doctor Who seem to think it is now too complex,

It's all to do with network television being dumbed down, people now want inexpensive mass-produced garbage like The X Factor, Pop Idol, Strictly Come Dancing and like watching spoon-fed TV, looking back to the most popular period of Doctor Who with Tom Baker and the highest rated episode ever City of Death the story of an alien being whose consciousness is split in four and scattered across different periods in earth's history, and whose elements work together to conspire to become rich in the present and have the power to build a device that stop himself from being caught in the explosion that itself caused him to be split across time and will in turn stop life ever forming on earth.

And the Mona Lisa/da Vinci is involved too! This is an incredibly complex story yet also the most popular, while still complex, No other writer has captured this element better than Stephen Moffat in his current run, in my opinion.

The paradox at the heart of the story is very similar to the Doctor and Pandorica situation which didn't stop the episode being voted by many as the best ever, even having Douglas Adams writing the episode will have boosted its ratings.

Now, you would have to assume, his scripts would be scorned. The current plots complexity is nothing compared to the entropy arc that marked the end of the Tom Baker years, but I still thoroughly enjoy that era - as did millions upon millions of viewers at the time. As for the plotlines being 'dragged on', 'Who is River Song' hasn't been they key plot since she was introduced, merely a background question.

Ok, four episodes of this series have dealt with it explicitly, but otherwise it has been a background question (to give an example, the questions concerning what happened during the Time War which were always in the background, and sometimes became the key focus), we know who River Song is now, so I don't see how it has been 'dragged on', it really just some newspaper hacks at The Sun trying to fill space.

So back to the question of whether or not the storylines have become too complicated, Surely this is relative to the person watching it? Some people will find the series too convoluted now, others (like myself) DO NOT find it complicated at all.

Arguing about complicated storylines is really a redundant issue, You will not persuade anybody that they are wrong, because if someone does, or does not, find it complicated, they will never agree with you, on the other hand the ratings, however, can be argued, but if you say the final BARB ratings have falling then you are, wrong.

In the real world if journalists actually did their jobs instead of scouring facebook and twitter for stories this wouldn't be an issue.

I also don't think the problem is complexity, anyone who has watched Doctor Who for any length of time and not from 2005 hopes for a complex story, and not just throw away episodes like Night Terrors, The Girl Who Waited, The God Complex which sucked.

The alternate earth Cybermen are lumpen and crude looking really need a redesign or the old Mondas Cybermen need to come back!

But back into the Doctor, if we have been seeing the double ganger recently, then it may well be the one that died in lets kill Hitler, River gave him her regeneration energy which is maybe why he can now regenerate as seen the The Impossible Astronaut.

The Wedding of River Song: What part do the Silence and Kovarian play in this stunning adventure? And was that a Dalek in the trailer? Watch the chilling Prequel below and enjoy the trailer again. We'll be bringing you much more around The Wedding of River Song in the week ahead... stay tuned!

Tonights the night... The doctor dies

If the Doctor was to stop himself from being killed by River Song, the Reapers as seen in Father's Day would try and finish the job so again it would still be a paradox.

In The Sound of Drums the Time Lords resurrected the Master to serve as a soldier in the Time War, maybe the same can done to the Doctor at some point if they do kill him tonight, which I really hope they do, or replaced by a Parallel Universe Doctor.

One last thing, i swear to god that muppet Steven Moffat better not cheap out and using that crappy Teselecta, instead of the Doctor, and how would it regenerate?.

As River song is wanted for arrest or in Prison for "Killing the best man she ever knew"?

I think it might actually be Rory Williams.

Looking forward to tonights episode, could have done with a longer running time, I think it's more a question of how he will not be killed than whether or not he will be killed.

I liked how they mention the Brigadier, it was certainly an underwhelming episode again, so he got little people inside the robot, which he was inside of when he got shot, crap out.

Yes it was a terribly disappointing ending again, same as the last one.

Silence will fall when The Question is asked? DOCTOR WHO?

So we all know the Doctor has been running around hiding so long saving everyone that pretty much everyone knows who he is, so The Silence decide to kill him once and for all, and they won't be stopped until they succeed, the Doctor's frame is his biggest weakness.

So he needs people to forget about him, the Silence stop chasing him because they think he is now dead. so the day comes when they no longer remember the Doctor and the question is ask 'Doctor who?' then they will fall.

The Doctor uses the Silence's weapon against them.

I also think it would have been better as a two-parter, unfortunately I would say an anticlimax after the big build up, after both The Impossible Astronaut & Day of the Moon the whole season has been a bit of a bad flop, in my opinion, and the cop out ending, so in the end the doctor was never going to die.
