| Looking to buy a new digital camera or camcorder maybe a HD model, i won't name the brand, on the website they have a few with either Mpeg AAC or Dolby Digital, which would sound the best and why? |

| When you start shooting a project the first question you need to ask is how will this be distributed? If the final product is to be out put out on DVD, AC3 or AAC would be fine, If it will only be shown on a Broadcast channel the same would be fine again, but for blu-ray i would use PCM with a sound recorder, if for anything other like facebook or youtube all AAC would be the best as it's a smaller size. |
