<  Underground Filmmaking  ~  What do the letters after peoples names in film credits mean

So after watching some hollywood (yeah yeah i know) movies some of the people in the credits have letters after there names what do these mean?

West, keep the British accent out of your prose. Don't take advantage of the fact that your uncle owns the paper.

Nothing important like B.Sc (A Bachelor of Science), MBA or PhD, just which film society/guild they belong to.

A.C.E - American Cinema Editors
C.S.A - Casting Society of America
A.S.C - American Society of Cinematographers
A.C.S - Australian Cinematographer's Society
B.S.C - British Society of Cinematographers
C.S.C - Canadian Society of Cinematographers
C.A.S - Cinema Audio Society (Sound Mixers)
M.P.S.E - Motion Picture Sound Editors (Sound Editors)
