This is something I don't understand myself. I mean, sure, some people genuinely liked it, to make other feel bad about them-selfs, IMDB comes to mind, But when certain things are discussed, it's like logic and free thought are just tossed to one side, and the jerks just rip on anything they don't like, this is not a new thing, just look at the wwe and ecw jerks hitting on wCw fans, they don't want to give people to have a choice, because they believe that they are smarter than everyone else, wrong your not.

I agree about all the "supposed" elitism that thrives on internet boards, The Internet in general (especially communities with names and/or pseudonyms) carries with it a lot of elitism, especially in groups or clubs that are scattered about.
