Basically this is the original beginning of digital nasties productions, we then chose to use Ash Home Video as our name
yet it seemed non-explanatory... Then we changed it to digital nasties productions, as that was what we were known for
gross out gore with a touch of nasty.

The basic plot was just an excuse for some gore sequences, A mad killer tries to kill anyone who crosses his path,
but is chased by the police, on paper it seemed like a mix of "Columbo", Hammer Studio's "Hands of the Ripper" and the classic
"Deep Red", but it was not a rip-off attempt on any of them, First part of the unfinished Maniac trilogy was a worthwhile project, but is a
little bit slower on the pacing than we intended. Anyway, we learned pretty much from the analog editing and knew we were on the right track
of what we wanted to do, the movies budget was £100 and it seemed like "mega bucks" those days... (well for 1994 anyhow) It was spent
on some fakeblood and Petrol (to fuel up the van) as the locations were rather widespread.
