A New Level of Intensity

Signalling the project's ambitious scope, Ash plans to shoot "Maniac 3" using state-of-the-art 12K digital cinema cameras, promising unprecedented levels of visceral detail and immersion.

"The world of \'Maniac\' has always haunted me," stated director Jonathon Ash from the newly established production office. "Returning to it now, with the incredible technology available, allows us to explore the character's darkness and the impact of his legacy in ways I could only dream of back in the 90s. Prepare yourselves – this will be intense."

New Blood, Old Wounds

Adding to the excitement, rising star S.K. Esrafili, known for their gripping performance in the upcoming Digital Nasties production "The Graveyard of Death Part II", has been cast in a leading role. Esrafili will portray Alex Corbin, a tenacious true-crime podcaster investigating the cold case of the original Maniac killings, only to find themselves potentially targeted when the past violently resurfaces.

"We are incredibly excited to have S.K. on board," a studio spokesperson commented. "Their intensity and commitment are perfect for the challenging role of Alex, who serves as the audience's anchor in this descent into madness."

The Nightmare Continues

While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, "Maniac 3" promises to delve deeper into the psychological torment and visceral horror established by its predecessors, exploring the cyclical nature of violence and trauma in a modern, hyper-connected world.
